PETERSBURG – France Scores 1-0 against Belgium as they battle for the spot in the finals. The winner of the game will face either England or Croatia, which are due to play on Wednesday, in the final game of the tournament.
The first World Cup’s semifinals match between France and Belgium has kicked off in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.
During the first half of the game, both teams showed some fight, the first half ended with the 0-0 score.
Umtiti scored the first goal for France making it 1-0 at the 51st minute.
France made it to the semifinals after defeating Uruguay 2-0, while Belgium triumphed over World Cup’s favourite Brazil 2-1.
French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium as well as the country’s Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, are attending the game.
