صوفی کی طریقت میں فقط مستی احوال
ملا کی شریعت میں فقط مستی گفتار
شاعر کی نوا مردہ و افسردہ و بے ذوق
افکار میں سرمست، نہ خوابیدہ نہ بیدار
وہ مرد مجاہد نظر آتا نہیں مجھ کو
ہو جس کے رگ و پے میں فقط مستی کردار
